FIRE PERMITS!!! IMPORTANT!!!
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU OBTAIN A FIRE PERMIT BEFORE YOU ARRIVE. Fire permits are required for this site, including for the use of cook stoves. Attendees who do not have a fire permit may be cited.
The best way to do this is to fill out the permit online, print it out, and bring it with you. Here’s the link: Fire Permit
You may also pick up at a permit at the US Forest Service office in Oroville.
TRASH AND RECYCLING
This is a “leave no trace” event. Please pack everything out of your campsite when you leave. A dumpster will be provided where you can drop your trash off on your way out. Unfortunately, recycling service isn’t available so please take your recyclables home with you.
BRING FOOD AND WATER!!!
This is a campout. Be self sufficient.
There will be no water available onsite this year, so bring water!
In keeping with tradition, a simple breakfast will be served on Sunday morning, but no other meals will be provided. There is a restaurant onsite but it may be crowded at times, and you should plan to bring at least some of your own food for the weekend.
The days can be warm, but the nights can get chilly. Bring plenty of layers!
